General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for your query.

I believe that you might have pneumonia as you have a fever.
*do you have any breathing difficulty? Chest pain? Any other symptoms?
*what is your temperature?
*do you have any other medical issues or take any medications?

I recommend :
-a physician consult
-chest x-ray
-blood tests (complete blood count, c-reactive protein, kidney & liver function tests)
-urine analysis
-sputum (phlegm) culture

Based on these we could decide if you need antibiotics and other supportive measures.

-continue fluids and Hydration.
-do steam Inhalation thrice a day.
-make a concoction of black tea, ginger, fennel seeds. Bring to a rolling boil And simmer for 5 minutes. Store in a thermos. Have 2 table spoonful every three hours with a little honey.
- see your doctor ASAP to check for pneumonia and treat appropriately.
-if you have any breathing difficulty or high temperature, visit the ER right away

Hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.

Wish you good health.
