General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

You might be having a yeast infection of the nails and the skin of your foot. To best diagnose this is having some scrapings of the skin and nails and have them examined in microscope after diluting it in KOH.

The best treatment for the nail fungal infection is with oral antifungals like ketoconazole for at least 3 months and you need a good follow up. The oral ketoconazole will take care of the skin infection as well.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
