My son is 32 and has been suffering from fatigue, migraines, and body pain. he was diagnoised with bi-polar and was on meds for that but all he is currently taking is WEllbutrin for anxiety and Dedadrine forADD. He has been unable to work or do anything for 5 years. He would like to check himself in somewhere to see if he could get some help.

Psychologist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Bipolar disorder, ADD and anxiety can be treated by a psychiatrist with the help of medicines and by a psychologist with the help of psychotherapy and counseling. Medicines alone may not be doing enough. I suggest you to consult a psychologist on advice from your psychiatrist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. K. V. Anand
