How Can Abdomen Bloating, Back Soreness With Tightness Be Treated?
I am a 24 year old woman who has had a bloated lower abdomen for over a year now. It gets worse when I eat but doesn t seem to change based on what I eat. I ve tried Gas-x and beano and they haven t had any impact. Also, I ve had my thyroid tested and that was normal. I m currently taking Acidopholus and after 2 weeks there hasn t been any change. My lower back has been very sore and tight feeling, however, I m not sure if that is related. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...
Bloated lower abdomen that is getting worse after eating is possible due to colitis. I advise to run colonoscopy and barium examination to see if you suffer of lazy bowels or colitis. Next, upper endoscopy recommended to rule out stomach issues. Take stool analysis and culture to rule out candida infection and treat it adequately.
Should check your urine through urine analysis as sometimes kidney stones or infection can result with the same symptoms.
But, first start with a colonoscopy done by gastroenterologist. Based on the results, can give the final conclusions and solutions.
All the best. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
