How Can A Pus Filled Bump Inside The Ear Be Treated?

my sister has been dealing with a puss pocket inside of her ear for a while now. she has talked to her doctor, but he says she has nothing wrong with her ear, my sister has still been telling me that her ears still hurts her. how do we open up the puss pocket to get it to drain. sorry i can t pay you anything. thank you for reading my question.

Hello,

Pus pocket inside the ear can be due to infection in the ear or can be due to infection in the hair follicle inside the ear canal.

So, my suggestion is to consult an Emergency room or an ENT Physician and get evaluated and a clinical examination should be done.

You can be advised a course of antibiotics like Ciprofloxacin, Augmentin et cetera and along with it antibiotic ear drops can be advised.

If there is pain, you can take painkillers like Motrin. If the pus pocket is growing bigger in size, it can be punctured and drained.
