I have hypothyrodism my Thyroxine is currently a .8 and my TSH is a 9.8 I have remained a costant weight but cannot lose weight no matter what I do. I watch what I eat and walk daily. I also have a low vitamin D level (14). Doctor prescribing .25 of Levoxyl and 50,000 units of Vitadmin D for the next 8 days. What can I do to lose weight and help with fatigue & moodiness?

welcome to healthcare magic,
The things you do to reduce your weight includes
1. having your thyroid levels under strict control (by medications regularly and regular check ups and review)
2. seeing your lipid profile
3. regular exercises
4. regular indulging in some sort of sportive activities
5. strict diet control (avoiding fat free diet and timely meals)
6. avoiding snacks in between meals
hope this explains
with regards
