How Can I Lose More Weight Thyroid Being Normal And Running About 2 Miles?

I m a diabetic and over weight. I weigh 258 lbs. I exercise on the treadmill everyday I run 2 miles and I am on weight watcher s. I no longer have a thyroid but do take meds, and have only lost 7 pounds in 3 weeks Why can t I lose more weight. Should I be doing more?

I hope you have the guide line from your treating doctor to loose more weight as you are diabetic and must on medication.
My first recommendation to my obese and diabetic Patients are to consult a dietitian and a physical trainer.This advice stands for you as well for proper diet and exercise.
Do add lots of vegetables in your diet to increase fiber content.Drink lots of water and avoid diet drink and carbonated drinks as they both contain some amount of carbohydrate.
Please do not be stressed to loose weight as it may have the opposite result,let it take its own course.
