I am 5 3 and weighs about 220 pounds and i suffer from hormonal imbalance caused by PCOS . I have tried dieting and i am finding great difficulty in losing the weight.... however i would like to know if its possible for me to get pregnant easily giving that i am menustrating every month? I have never been pregnant before and i am almost 30, so i am concerned about being able to have a family some day.
The fact that your menstrual cycle is regular is good however obesity has been shown to result in infertility in women who ovulate normally. In addition , unfortunately increase weight is also associated with an increased risk of some pregnancy complications.
It is very difficult to lose weight and even harder to keep the weight off once it is gone especially if you had initially wanted to lose more.
If you find it difficult to lose weight on your own , you might want to consider seeking assitance - a medical weight loss program, an online weight loss program , nutritionist.
Some persons require medication to aid in their weight loss fight.
I hope this helps
