Hormonal Acne, On Zinc Supplements 50mg, Puss, Drink Water, Fruits, Use Gram Flour To Wash. Any Suggestion?

Hello sir. I am 23 years old female. I have hormonal acne. some time back i started taking zinc supplements, 50mg. My skin look way better now, but i still have breakouts, with puss. but because of the supplements, they dont last long. I wear makeup regularly. i dont touch my face, drink lots of water, fruits, use only gram flour to clean and wash my face.i just want clear skin. Now that i am doing job, these occasional pimples shatter my confidence. what is it that i am missing in my skin care or diet?any supplements you would suggest?

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Acne occurs due to 4 processes: (1) increased production of skin cells causing blockage of the hair follicles
(2) excess production of sebum which is an oily waxy substance made in the glands of the skin
(3)the presence a particular bacteria
(4)inflammation

To effectively treat your acne, it would be important to address all of these factors.

This would involve the use of topical or oral medication.

Topical agents such as benzoyl peroxide would reduce inflammation, decrease the bacteria.
This can be combined with a topical antibiotic such as clinamycin.

There should be daily cleansing with a mild soap as well.

If topical treatment is not effective then oral treatment may be needed.

i hope this helps
