Heroin Addict, Heart Weak. Methadone Program Undergoing. Will He Make It?

my son has been a Herion addict for 17 years. He is in the hospital right now and today was his first day with out Methadone. His heart is not good already! We talk everyday and they are gonna soon, maybe this week send him to him to a program here in Seattle. Will he make it? My heart is aching for him. He has been on the Methadone program for over 2 years. He did use Herioin 2 weeks ago. Thank you.
