Headache, Strong Smell, Difficulty Breathing

I m a 15 year old female and for the past couple of years every so often I would get these really weird headaches . Out of nowhere smells would become really strong and it would give me a headache, I couldn t breathe out of my nose because it would make the headache worse. I haven t done anything about it because I couldn t find any information about it. I haven t figured out what the initial cause is, it comes and goes randomly. The length and the severity varies. Does this have a name or at least something that can help me? I just had a really bad one and the intensity is slowly fading away now.

Welcome to HCM!
I have gone through your question and from my clinical experince I can say that it appears to be a case of atypical migraines/ very rare possibility is of a seizure disorder.

Had I been treating you, I would get an MRI Brain and an EEG done to rule out seizure. if these are negative, then you will surely get well with migraine treatment.
Usually, chronic cases like yours respond greatly to tricyclics acid and beta locker combination for some time and tapered down slowly.

so, first get a brain scan done and then go for medicines.
Hope the reply helps you
