Epalrestat is a Novel Aldosterone Reductase Inhibitor improves neuropathy symptoms in diabetics. Aldonil (Epalrestat) prevents the deterioration of median Motor Nerve Conduction Velocity (MNCV), improves Vibration Perception Threshold (VPT), reduces the risk of Diabetic Retinopathy and improves Heart Rate Variability (CVR-R) on long term.
