Having Pea Sized, Movable Lump Under Skin. Lipoma?

If a lump is hard, circular, somewhat pea-like but larger, moves under the skin, but isn t necessarily soft and rubbery...can it still be a lipoma? He has one that appeared on the side of his hip at the top of his leg and one on his chest . I, his mother, have cysts and lipomas and know it is good for the lump to move, but he seems young to have these. He is 18.

Hello
welcome to health care magic
Lipoma is freely mobile, soft, skin can be pinchable from the swelling, painless,,
But not necessarly to have all these features..
some times it may be hard but not stone hard..
Lipoma is a tumor of fat cells..it is a benign condition..
Consult surgeon and have your doubts clarified..he will give you more suggestions
Thank you
