Having Pain In Throat, Smoke Regularly. What It Could Be?

Hi I have been having a pain in my throat for about 1-2 weeks now. and I smoke regularly, 7 cigarettes a day, and wasnt sure what it could be. It also feels as if my throat has something in it but that feeling comes and goes through out the day. I wasnt sure if it was a result from smoking or now.

Hello
I reviewed the history provided by you.
It seems from the history that you are having pain in throat and you smoke regularly.
This indicates chronic laryngitis or chronic pharyngitis. Since you are a smoker the cause can be chronic irritation caused by smoke. You nerd to undergo ENT examination to rule out malignancies of throat to which smokers are at high risk.
Hence do consult ENT doctor for evaluation.
Thank you
