Having pain in neck and joints due to disc deplacement. Not satisfied with the treatment
I have pane in my neck left side and feeling numbness in left hand and also pain on joints of left side back. I got the MRI . The report says: 1. Minimal posterior osteophyte-disc complex noted at c6 c7 level. 2. Mild posterior osteophyte-posterior and left paracentral disc bulge noted at c5 c6 level indenting thecal sac. I am undergoing a treatment of 5 days and through medicine a got some relief but not fully satisfied. What is going wrong in my neck and hand?
I have a very sore neck. It s affecting the right side of my face. It feels like the muscles have gone stiff. Xrays have shown no joint problems. I am swollen between my neck and my shoulder. I was told that I will have to go for a MRI scan which my. Medical aid does not cover and I will never have the money to pay for it. What I want to know is it possible that I could have arthritis in the neck? Thank you.
In 2008 I fell off a wall and broke c-5 and c-6 in my neck yesterday I woke to my neck swollen and very painful I tried ice pack 15 mins on then heat pad 15 mins and 600 mg ibuprophen today the swelling continues and the pain is worse should I go to the emergency room? I think I have whiplash although I have nt been in a car accident. Can I still fly? I am due to fly on Sat long haul. My neck is very painful on one side and movement is very restrictive. I have NHL had any sleep at all. Lying down is excruciating painful & I cannot get comfortable. I have had whiplash before, after a car accident but it was nt as bad as this & I have no idea how it has happened?
I have been having neck and shoulder pain for over six months with increased worsening. Also have numbness and tingling of fingers. Have creepy crawling feeling to left leg, forehead and shoulder area. Have pain that radiates to right elbow. Pressure in ears. Cracking and popping of neck. I cannot keep ars raised to brush my hair but a few minutes. MRI shows cervical spondylosis and osteophytes at C5-6 and C6-7. Worst affected is level C6-7 with moderate sized portion disc osteophyte and left sided uncovertebral osteophyte cause mild central and left sided neural foraminal stenosis. What are my treatment options since symptoms have been worsening. I am 50 y/o.

I need some clarification on my MRI report results on my lower back so I'm going to go ahead and read the findings to you: -Reactive endplate disease degenerative noted inferior endplate L4 in particular - Bone marrow signal intensity is diffusely...
Hi, I was wondering what these results mean? Thanks! FINDINGS: MRI of Brain: A punctate high FLAIR signal area at subcortical right parieto-occipital region is nonspecific. Brain volume and signal characteristics are normal. No evidence for acute intracranial masses or mass-effect is seen. No abnormally enhancing lesions are visualized. The ventricular system is normal without shift of midline structures. No extra-axial fluid collections or hydrocephalus is appreciated. Diffusion weighted imaging is normal, without evidence of acute or subacute infarction. The posterior fossa and midline structures are normal. The brainstem and visualized spinal cord are normal. The visualized orbits and paranasal sinuses are unremarkable for technique. MRI of Cervical Spine: Levoconvex scoliosis of thoracolumbar spine is seen. Otherwise The spinal column shows normal alignment. The bone marrow reveals normal signal. No evidence for any abnormal pre or paravertebral soft tissue mass is identified. The cranio-vertebral junction is unremarkable. The spinal cord is normal in signal and caliber. Posterior annular tear with diffuse bulging of C4-C5 and C5-C6 intervertebral disc is seen with mild central canal stenosis. Mild osteophyte and hydration is seen at T8-T9 level with mild left paracentral spurring. IMPRESSION: 1. A punctate high FLAIR signal area at subcortical right parietal occipital region is nonspecific. Essentially unremarkable MRI of brain without acute intracranial hemorrhage, edema, hydrocephalus or mass effect. 2. Degenerative changes at C4-5 and C5-C6 levels as detailed above. Levoconvex scoliosis of thoracal lumbar spine. Otherwise unremarkable MRI of cervical and thoracic spine.
