Hello. I was wondering if you could help me out with something. I have been having irregular spotting quite a lot mostly throughout the month every month. I dont have regular periods though and havent since my first one at age 16 (I am now 23). The norm for me is every 3-5 months and when I do I pass mostly very large blood clots. However for the last 2 years I have been having this abnormal spotting throughout the month where it looks almost dark red, like clotted blood and a mucus together. I didnt pay much attention to it but I did think I might have a UTI or and infection but after visiting the doctor he said I was without infection. I have had no pain or discomfort or even a bad smell. However, recently it seems after I urinate I can see what looks like little shreds of "skin" in the toilet. This has been happening for 2-3 days. And I am feeling quite an amount of discomfort. Upon trying to have intercourse I noticed a tremendous amount of pain and pressure when he would try to insert his penis. It felt as though something was tearing and it hurt so bad it brought me to tears and I had to stop. This has never happened before and I am very sexually active. What could this possibly be? I refuse to get a pap smear done and am researching alternatives. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
