My husband had flu like symptoms Saturday afternoon. He came home from work saying he didn't feel well and within a couple hours he was down and out. He felt terrible all day Sunday, but by that night he had finally started to feel a bit better, and had gotten his appetite back. Monday, he woke up with a very sore throat and complained of his scalp being sensitive and bumpy. By that evening he had like four "pimples" in the middle of his forehead and down the middle of his nose. Also, one on his cheek and one hear his ear. An hour later they all looked like fever blisters and were oozing just a bit of liquid. This morning his throat was so sore he couldn't sleep and he went to the walk in clinic. He tested negative for strep and for the flu... but they gave him a prescription for theraflu and an oinment, and the Dr. said he still felt in his gut that it was another strand of flu. I don't know how to make this better for him or what it could possibly be.
