Have White Patches On The Throat. No Medication Till Now. What To Do For This?

yes i have white patches in the back of my throat. i am a singer i dont smoke or use drugs occassionally i may have a glass of wine. i drink coffe one half cup a day with cream. lately i have not been drinking coffee. and juice which i often dillute with water. but i just noticed the bleach like patch on the right side of my throat, while opening my mouth in my rear mirror in my car. wow what is that? will these go away if i change my eating habits and prescibe to some ant acid medications. i am discouraged because as a singer i depend on my vocal range. can u help with some pratical suggestions. before i need to see my primary doctor. thx jeff

Hello jeff,
There are many causes for white patches.
white patches could be because of debries in the tonsils which might be enlarged for that you just need to do gargle regularly with mouth wash and dilute betadine.
Otherwise there can be fungal infectiuon which will need to be examined and need to be treated accordingly.
Take care of reflux ie acidity and heart burnm they are one of the causes for causing kerotosis due to long term inflammation.
