Have Uncomfortable Feeling Under Breast Bone. Had Swallowed Chicken Bone Earlier. When Will It Be Normal Again?
Dear Doctor:
3 days ago before leaving for vacation with my daughter I think I swallowed a small chicken bone - the only uncomfortable feeling I have had was a fullness under my breast bone - almost like an indigestion feeling and a bit of tenderness in that area that I especially notice when going to bed. I haven't taken any medication for it and thought it might have passed by now?
Do you think tomorrow when we get back, I should look in to this or give it a few more days to see if it passes?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The mild uncomfortable feeling under the breast bone is likely to be related to the chicken bone that you have swallowed earlier. This is likely to improve in next few days without any treatment. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Regards, Dr. Praveen Tayal drtayal72@gmail.com
