In ultrasound scan of total abdomen doctor noted uterus: Retroverted measuring 8.0X9.4X7.5 cms. Bulky with distorted anterior contour and heterogenous myometrial echotexture. EM Measures 11.5mm. Cavity echo is central Multiple hypoechoic sols (4-5) measuring 3.5X2.1 cm, 2.9X1.9 cm, 2.0X1.6 cm and 2.3X2.0 cm noted. Her (Patient) age 44 years, and we are late married and planning for children pl give us good advise. --Kumar, Hyd

With retroverted uterus it is not safe for getting pregnant also seeing the age group of potential mother as chances for malformations in fetus are higher in older mothers and also risk to mothers health. Your obstetrician should be better able to explain you the consequences.
