Have Thickened Fluid In The Endometrium And Appendix Is Mildly Prominent Along With Enlarged Uterus. Please Advise
Hi. I just got the results of my abdominal/pelvic cat scan back. The only two abnormalities say: 1) Fluid is seen in the endometrium which is thickened to approximately 16 mm; there is soft tissue prominence seen in the region of the cervix, likely physiologic but please correlate clinically. 2) The appendix is mildly prominent in size at 9 mm with mildly prominent intraluminal air and fluid; there is no associated inflammatory change, but please correlate clinically. The first really scares me. My CT was done four days before the start of my period, but my last Ultrasound said enlarged uterus (but not fluid mentioned). Can you address?
HI Thank for asking to HCM I have red your report and I would say that this is nothing to worry, when it said in report that it need to be correlated with clinical condition means the important is your clinical complain and your symptoms if you do not have any clinical complain then I would advise you to just forget it, because your report seems insignificant, what ever is there that does not need any treatment, I hope this answer will help you have nice day.
