Have Spots And Discharge After Having Periods. Was Diagnosed With UTI. Had Sex Earlier. What Can It Be?

I went to my internalist a week ago and was disgnosed with uti. I started spotting over the weekend and have already had my period at the beginning of the month. Its not like a period meaning no sore breasts or bloat. The bleeding is coming from my vagina not from where my urine comes from. I never spot before or after a period. I took an at home pregnacy test but its only been a week since I last had sex. I am confused and scared of what is going on with my body.

hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic forum. The intermenstrual bleeding that you are having could be due to various reasons, most common hormonal changes.
The UTI is not related to the same. You need to visit a good gynaecologist who will examine you and consult accordingly.Dont worry. The causes also depend on age.
If there is some trauma to the vagina during sexual intercourse that could also show spotting but accompanied by some pain.So stay healthy.thanks
