Have Severe Pain In The Heel Along With Soreness

I m having severe pain in my right heel, in the mornings when I get out of bed I can barley bare weight on it, as I limp it gets easier to walk and the pain gets tolerable. After I ve sat down for a few minutes or hours I get up to walk I experience the same thing as I do in the mornings. My heel is sore to the touch and tender I rub it and it hurts but feels good at the same time, it also swells up some. Im miserable what do you think it could be and what can I do to ease the pain until I can get in to see a doctor?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi
This are the typical signs of plantar fascitis of heel.
For this you need to wear heel pad and soft footwares for life time.
You should dip you leg in hot(lukewarm) and cold water for 15minutes 2times a day.
If still you have pain then local hydrocortisone injection should be taken.
Get well soon.
Thank you.
