I ve been in and out of doctors/hospital all week. I have had severe lower pains but no bleeding , etc or signs of waters broken or fluid leaking. I have an minor infection which is being treated. Im not feeling the baby move but all i can feel is a sudden push (or bump in a way) in my downstairs region. Its almost as though bubbas like mum I wanna get out now. Is this normal?
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. The decrease in the fetal movements is a worrisome finding. This can happen due to frequent contractions or a decreased liquor amnii. An ultrasound scan will help in proper diagnosis. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. Yes, the sensation you are feeling is normal, usually during the third trimester of pregnancy(i.e. week 27- to the end).
The lower abdominal pain is most probably due to the infection you are experiencing, which should subside with treatment, but it is also common as I mentioned in women in their third trimester due to the changes taking place in growth and development of the baby, along with weight changes and a uterus preparing for birth.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications at: http://doctor.healthcaremagic.com/doctors/dr-shoaib-khan/64581 . I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
