Have Puss Pockets, Sore Throat And Fuzzy Feeling, Tired. Does It Sound Like Tonsillitis ?

I have puss pockets, sore throat and am feeling fuzzy almost like I am tired and could just fall asleep at any minute. Recently, I just got over tonsillitis and I took a z pax for that; it worked great!
I can't afford to go to the doctor all the time and I have a baby at home... I am worried that my daughter might contract this from me. Is that possible? And does it sound like tonsillitis?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

I have gone through your description. It can be acute attack of a chronic tonsillitis; meaning you have chronic infection in your tonsils and suffer from bouts of acute infection which flares up. The treatment is usually medical if the number of attacks are less than 6 per year. If you have such attacks for 6 times for more than two years and it is affecting your lifestyle, tonsillectomy - surgical removal of tonsils can be considered.

Sreenivasan
