Have Problem Of Frequent Urination Even Though Water Intake Is Less

Hello. I'm to visit an endocrenologist for the first time at my doctor's suggestion. I'm 65 years old and consider myself in good health, but I've acquired a stomach paunch with a mind of its own, I have ED, I go to bed at 10 PM every night but have to go to the bathroom around 3 AM even though I may not have any more water for about the last three hours before bed except to take a high blood pressure pill. I am also taking Vyvance, paroxotene and one other for a urinary disorder. What should I talk to this doctor about??

Urologist 's  Response
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have nocturia.
and frequent urination.

Considering your age it is likely that you may have Enlarged Prostate which is common at this age.

Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical and digital rectal examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Routine urine test and urine culture .
2) Ultrasound scanning of the abdomen
3) Serum PSA.
4)Blood sugar levels to rule out diabetes.

Further treatment will depend upon the results of these tests and final diagnosis.
