Have Painful, Itchy Black Spot On The Back. Is It Mole?
I have a spot on my back that i ve had for about a year now. I thought it was a mole, because it was raised and a little darker then my skin tone. Now it grew a little and became painful. I had my husband take a look at it, my husband got some unscented pus out. It now only itches from time to time and lookslike a mole on my back.
Hi,
From the description that you have provided, it could probably be a sebaceous cyst. It's a benign cyst beneath skin with a central pore or punctum and may discharge cheesy oily foul smelling liquid.
As the lesion is itchy and painful, seems like it has got inflammed and infected. To treat the same
Do warm water compresses over the lesion
Apply a antibiotic cream twice in a day
If its very tender, may take an antiinflammatory painkiller like Brufen
Hopefully the inflammation should subside with these measures.
I would advise you to consult your doctor and get it surgically removed once the inflammation settles.
Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
From your history it seems that you are having Infected Sebaceous Cyst giving this problem.
Consult surgeon and get diagnosed.
I cyst is there then go for removal of cyst with sac.
If you do not go for surgery then it will go on emptying and feeling repeatedly.
Ok and bye.
