Have Pain In Left Arm. Neck Is Tight. Writes With Head Bent And Turned To Right. Advice?

My dad has been writing hunched over a desk for months with his head bend down and turned to the right. He has been having extreme radiating pain in the left arm from shoulder to hand keeping him up at night with pain. I noticed his neck is so tight on the right side he can't turn his chin to his left shoulder. Could tightness on the right side of neck cause impingment on a nerve that could causepain in the left arm?

Hello,

Your father has radiating pain in the left arm and shoulder.
This may be due to improper positioning that he may be suffering from musculoskeletal pain or
Due to age or other causes he may be having cervical spondylosis.
This may cause nerve impingement and cause radiculopathy.
Take an X ray of cervical pain and consult an orthopedician.
