Have Itching In Labia Minora. Took Medication For Yeast Infection, UTI. Is Protruded Labia Causing The Problem?

Hi,
I have an eighteen year old daughter that has been dealing with extreme discomfort and itching in the labia minora area. She tells me it is extremely uncomfortable to wear underware or pants as it rubs on her labia and causes her to itch. We have been to our OB/GYN and they have treated her for yeast on a couple of occassions. My daughter has also experienced many UTI's throughtout the years. She is a virgin so we have never been concerned about or checked for any type of STD's. This young lady is extremely frustrated because there isn't one day that goes by that she doesn't use Vagisil just so that she can function. Because most clothing causes a problem for her, she resorts to wearing sweatpants with no underware. It is possible her pertruded labia is causing this problem and if so what can we do to correct it? Please help!

Hi,
From history it seems that she might be having fungal infection on the part.
Apply anti-fungal cream local.
Give her oral anti-fungal tablet like Flucanozole 150 mg once in a week for 4 weeks.
Wear cotton inner wears.
Keep local hygiene clean, dry and airy.
Ok and take care.
