Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi, thank for your query.

I am really sorry to hear about your suffering. If you are 16 years-old, I suggest that you look for an urologist with more experience on this disease. You don't have to wait until you are 18 to go to an adult urologist, as far as I know.

There are guidelines to the treatment of this disease, and many options to relieve the pain and suffering. There is hope for you, don't give up! The American Urology Association has a guideline to the diagnosis and treatment of this disease, you can find it online. It is designed for doctors, but you can take a look and see that there are options.

Have a good day and good luck.
