Have Ingrown Hair On Vagina, Raw Feeling. No Itching Or Discharge. Burning Urination. Yeast Infection?

I had an ingrown hair on the outside of my vagina. So I put a hot wet wash cloth on it to speed up the process of it popping. Now there is a small place on the inside of my vagina that feels raw. Everything was fine until I did this. Could the heat have caused a yeast infection? There is no itching or discharge but burns when I urinate.

thank you for your query. there is no cause to be alarmed right now. the popping of the ingrown hair has caused the rawness, which is burning on micturition. Urine contains salt (sodium), which when coming in contact with the raw area is causing the burning sensation. Don't worry, it will be healed spontaneously within a few days.
It appears unlikely with your symptoms that you have an yeast infection.
Hope i've been able to satisfy your query. please feel free to contact me for any further clarifications. best of luck.

Hi!
WELCOME TO HCM!
There are no chances of heat causing a yeast infection.Since there is no itching or discharge so you dont seem to be having yeast infection.
Burning is due to local inflammation of vagina, may be there was a boil which you thought was ingrown hair.you can get yourself examined by a gynaecologist if it gives you more trouble.
hope this will help you!
take care!
