I have a hyperkentic gall bladder with an ejection rate of 95%. I have all the classic symptoms: Pain in the right quadrant, under my rib cage, extreme pain following a meal. I t worsens at night, no acid reflux, bloating in th e abdomen, along with a constriction feeling in my abdomen and always.............always the pain. My feeling is that I need my gall bladder out, yet all my doctors seem to deal with the other end of the ejection fraction spectrum, concentrating on low ejection <35%. Help me, I need to know what this is and should I have my gall bladder removed. I should also mention that I have had all the gastrointestinal tests along with CT scans MRI,s, endoscophys ultrasounds and the only thing that showed something was my HIDA scan, twice indicating an ejection rate of +95%. I am in constant pain.
