Have Headache Side Of Head, Pain Shoulder Down Arm, Took X-ray, Told Rotary Cuff Wearing. Pains Related?

I have some minor pain down the left side of the back of my head...I also have pain from my left shoulder down my arm. I can't put my left arm behind my back. The doctor thinks its just "old age" and the rotary cuff is wearing down. He took x-rays and there isn't a tear, etc. Could the back of the head pain be related to the arm pain?

Hi, many thanks for the query!
No, the arm pain doesn't seem to be related to headache (on back side).
What your doctor says is absolutely correct, take pain killers & muscle relaxants for severe arm pain which will also relieve your headache.
Avoid lifting heavy weights.
Wish you a good health. Take care.
