In folds on stomach, I have severe red patched, oozing and it is bleeding . I have been advised propysalic lotion and pacroma lotion alternatively in folds, sometime back. That time it got recovered. Now I have similar condition again which is irritating me so much + paining as it is bleeding. So I applied Pacroma cream and propy. lotion. Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
YOu seem to be suffering from seborrheic dermatitis.
Propysalic ointment is used when there are lesions that are dry and thick. If its used on red oozy lesions, it will cause more irritation. So right now do not use it. To treat your skin concern, follow these suggestions
Use a ketoconazole shampoo every alternate day to wash hair .Apply steroid lotion over scalp in night?( zydip lotion or diprovate lotion)
Apply steroid antibiotic cream over red oozy lesions twice in a day.

This will help the lesions resolve. If not much response is seen in a week, please consult your dermatologist. Right now do not use pacroma. It is pimecrolimus, a steroid sparing agent and can be used later on to prevent recurrences of the disease.

Hope this helped.
