Hello, Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum. Chlamydia Trachomatis causes cervicitis , urethritis , endometritis , salpingitis and all these are due to infection and usually don't show any finding in ultrasound unless damage is severe. In my opinion ultrasound will only find ,if any damage in any part of genitals. For confirmation of diagnosis culture and incubation of McCoy or HeLa cells are advised. 2nd most specific & sensitive test is Nucleic acid amplification test ( NAATs). So before any ultrasound first get in these tests for diagnosis confirmation. If chlamydia present get in ultrasound and consult a dermatologist . Good luck Dr. HET
