Have Bulky Uterus. Was On Sevista. Periods Irregular. Gained Weight. Thick Discharge. Suggestions?
Hello! I am 38 years and have a daughter who is 17 years. During the last week of january 2013, i was diagnosed that I have bulky uterus and was put on sevista, bi weekly for the first 3 months and weekly once for the next 3 months. Started the course from the first week if February. I got my periods in the 11 of February and after that I didn't get. I also gained 3 kilos eversince I started the tablets. I stopped taking tablets after 3 months. I have been having thick, discharge for the last 2 months. Now I spot a slight trace of blood in the discharge. I checked my blood for sugar and thyroid, which came out as negative. Is the blood spotting normal or anything to be worried?

Sevista was prescribed for bulky uterus , they were right.
Whole of course was for 6 months .
The side effects of sevista is sometimes there is prolongation of menstrual cycle.
Same may be in your case.
As far as concerned thick discharge that may be due to pelvic inflammation .
In my opinion once again consult a gynaecologist and get in his opinion and one more ultrasound.
