Hello and welcome to HCM.
Thank you for your query.
A few things you will have to look for and/or investigate:
-Urine culture and sensitivity investigation to look for an infection and get information on the infection-causing organism
-An abdominal and pelvic
ultrasound to look for:
+ any abnormalities in the kidneys
+ any stones in the renal system
+ hernia's can also produce pain or
tingling sensation on tip of penis
-Glycaemic profile: to look for
diabetes to be the cause
-Cytoscopy: to explore the
urinary tract and look for abnormalities
-Screening for sexually transmitted diseases: this will also have to be ruled out
As you have not mentioned any investigations that were conducted, it is difficult to be more precise. In the meantime, please ask your husband to drink plenty of water, as
dehydration can also cause similar symptoms at times. Please also refrain from any sexual contact till a diagnosis has been made.
I hope I have succeeded in providing the information you were looking for. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications. I would gladly help you.
Best wishes.
