Have An L4-L5 And L5-S1 Herniated Disc, Pain. Done MRI. How To Reduce Pain?

I have an L4-L5 and L5-S1 herniated disc and don't see the dr for 2 more weeks . How do I ease the pain/numbness/weakness. MRI report read L4-L5 left hemilaminectomy defect with disc bulge and Granulation tissue surrounding the left L5 intrathecal nerve root. L5-S1 disc bulge with mild stenosis. I have been down for 6 weeks and wondering what I can do to ease pain when even laying down hurts.
