Have PCOS, Irregular Periods. Prescribed Clomid And Duphaston. Is There Any Side Effects Of Clomid?

i dont know if I misunderstood my gyne...I have PCOS , i have irregular periods and she prescribed clomid and duphaston together... and I did take it together and not like how online it says on the 3day of the cycle. Will there be any effect of the clomid is this case?

Thanks for your query.
Clomid and Duphaston are not supposed to be taken together.
Clomid is to be taken on 3rd day of menses and duphaston to be taken on 12th day to 25th day of menses.
Clomid is given for induction of ovulation and duphaston is given to correct progesterone deficiency as in your case.
Duphaston does not inhibit ovulation so clomid will has its effect.
