hi. my mother is an alzheimers patient, age 88, in a nursing home with a weak heart under medication and has left branch bundle block. eighteen days ago, she fell in bathroom and sprained left ankle-it was x-rayed no broken bones. since then, she has only walk about 30 steps in 2 days and stood up, but complains of pain. she does, however, scoot all around the massive place in her wheelchair/feet. for days now, her good, uninjured right leg from knee down is extremely hard, pale, and so are toes-twice the size of her injured sprained leg. we have elevated it-some swelling has come down. should i take her from nursing home to hospital today???? she is lethargic-they say she may have a uti again. being testd today. thanks
