Has Circular Bruises On Side Of Wrist. No Pain Or Itch.Has Night Sweats. Cause?
My friend at work, who is black & age 57 came to work with a circular bruise the size of 2 half dollars on the in side of her wrist. She just noticed the bruises and does not remember hurting herself. They are not painful nor do they itch. It is just odd that they are so identical.
What could be the cause? She is not on any medication. She is thin & fit, but does have a lot of stress at work.
She does have thinning hair and night sweats
I am worried about the bruises as this is not normal.
Any ideas?

Thanks for your query
Your friend seems to have developed an allergic dermatitis over the wrist.
Find out if there is history of wearing any new watch or any new jewellery over the hands.
Many times metals, plastic as well as rubber items can cause such reaction.
Avoid applying any creams or oils over the affected areas.
Use a topical steroid cream over the area twice a day.
Can take oral antihistamines if there is any irritation.
