Hard Area On Septum Inside The Right Nostril. Sore While Peeling It Off. Should I Get Examined By ENT?
I have a very small area just inside my right nostril on the septum that is hard/rough. It bothers me, and I often peel it off. It never bleeds. It s sore after I peel it and the area around it is paler than the surrounding skin and it currently has a small depressed area in the center after peeling it. It always comes back, within a few days. It has been there for months and is starting to worry me. Should I have it examined by an ENT specialist?

You seem to be having a chronic wound or a scar tissue in the skin lined area of your nose and since you are constantly peeling it the cycle is getting repeated and the same is not getting healed.
You can apply a little Vaseline or moisturizer lotion in the area and try not to meddle or peel it. If it heals completely then you have nothing to worry about. But if the scar tissue remains and the texture and appearance is different than the rest of the skin then you must consult an ENT and a dermatologist to be on the safer side
