Had Unprotected Sex Day Before Expected Periods And Had Pills. Periods Are Delayed. Pregnant?

Hi, I had unprotected sex only on 29th day of my menstrual cycle as I was expecting periods on that day.i didn't had sex in any other day of this cycle. Not even while the period of the last cycle. Mine is 28 days cycle. I had contraceptive pill within 72 hours of unprotected sex. My period is delayed by 7 days. Till now I didn't get my periods. Is there a chance I could be pregnant?

Hi,
Thanks for the query.
The possibility of pregnancy is less in your case.
Emergency pill can alter the menstrual period depending on the period of the cycle when you took the pill.
As you took the pill in the second half of the cycle, it might have postponed the periods.
So you wait for one more week, possibly by that time you will get periods.
If you do not get periods even after one week, consult gynecologist once and take tablets to induce withdrawal bleeding.
For more details you can ask me directly through the premium forum. Take care.
