Had Unprotected Sex. Took Unwanted 72. Noticed Bleeding. Feeling Breast Pain. Delayed Periods. Chances Of Pregnancy?
hello doctor ..........my frnd was finished with her normal periods on 22nd of may and had unprotected sex on 26th of my night, she has taken unwanted 72 on 27th my and one more pill she has taken without any intercourse just because she was scared on 29th of may after 7 days i mean 4th of june she started bleeding only for one and a half day after that there is no bleeding.....and now it is 10th june her normal periods are not cmng but she is feeling breast pain which is normal for her before getting her periods..........i wants to know why her periods are not coming.....is there any chance of pregnancy for her

The immergensy contraceptive pills are hormones,it aviods conception if taken within 72hrs of unprotected sex. If taken frequently, it has various side effects ,one of them being irregular periods.
So there are least chances of pregnancy as she has taken the pill in time &also had bleeding following it . She does not have any sex after that.So,its effect of excessive hormones she had consumed that seem to be responsible for the current problems
PL. note, never take immergency contraceptive on regular basis. Insted start adapting some regular contraceptive for a better result.

You said that she finished her normal periods on 22nd may, then it supposed to be started on around 18th may, so now it is only 10th June and around a week is remaining in next period.
But meanwhile you have taken hormonal post coital contraceptives and menstrual irregularities are known side effect of post coital contraceptives, so it will take time to regularized your period again.
So do not expect period again on time it can come on around 18th or in next month around 4th.
I do not think that you are pregnant, very rare chances only.
One more thing you should be strictly aware, emergency contraceptives are only for accidental unprotected sex, please do not use them so frequently, otherwise your own body is on long term risks.

She is not pregnant .
Scanty menstruation may be due to hormones of 72 tablets , so don't take any botheration.
Once effects over she will get regular periods.

Thank for choosing,HCM The unwanted pill (Harmon) does not 100 % safe or prevents the pregnancy, on the other hand it may some time jeopardize the condition to extend of life threatening situation, in my opinion have an appointment with some OBG Doctor,,, Take care have good day.
