Had Teacup Pig, Itchy Rashes, Treatment
I just bought a tea-cup pig. We have had her for 4 weeks now but I and my husband have got itchy red rash on us. Is it from the pig? If it is, what is it so we can treat it. Thank you

Hi,
You seem to have developed an allergic skin disease.
It can develop due to handling of any pets also.
You should avoid applying any kind of skin irritants like dettol, spirit over it.
You might need to apply a topical steroid cream over the affected area twice a day for few days.
Take some oral antihistamines along.
See a nearby dermatologist if the condition tends to persist despite this therapy.
You might need a course of oral steroids.
