Had Shortness Of Breath, Tightness In Chest, Blacking Out. Done X Ray And Blood Test. Taken Advil And Tylenol. What Is Going On?
My 16 year old daughter had shortness of breath and tighning in her chestr today at the start of volleyball practice. She felt like blacking out. I took her to the er and they did an ekg, chest x-ray and blood test cause she is on sprintec to check for sign of blood clot. Everything was normal. She feels crappy & has a headache which started right after all this happened. They called it chest wall pain---told us to take advil or Tylenol for pain. She still feels crappy. Blood pressure and pulse normal as well. At a loss why she feel crappy yet??

One of the side effects of Sprintec is chest pain. Have told to ER that your daughter is taking Sprintec.
Did you check your daughter's
- electrolytes level = dehydration is one cause
- is she eating healthy = vitamins and minerals imbalance could cause her crappy problems.
- hormones level
These are necessary to find the right culprit. Meanwhile, do not let her daughter do more physical activity until the test results, give her healthy foods, more water.
