General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, as you think it is not preferable, to go for pain management. As it will allow the joint to work, and cant stop the friction, and damage to the joint.
So i advise you to consult a rheumatologist for correction of the joint. Thank you.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement Dr. K. Naga Ravi Prasad's  Response
Hi, thanks for writing to HCM.

Persistent pain after a rotator cuff repair always indicates that there is some form of instability inside.

So, mere use of pain killers will not serve the purpose as you are not addressing the root cause.

I suggest you to undergo a "Dynamic MRI" scan for your shoulder which picks up the instability problem. Accordingly, you should approach an arthroscopic surgeon with adequate experience in redo surgeries for further management.

Hope this information is helpful. Good day
