General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You have been treated appropriately. You also seem to have responded well to the treatment. No fever, no cough and weight gain are positive signs of recovery.

With these factors presuming the initial infectious strains were not drug resistance, there are high chances of the tests coming negative for tuberculosis. So go ahead with the tests without worries

All the best!!

hi sumeet..thanks for using HCM..
you had pulmonary tuberculosis in the past and took treatment for 6 months..
if you are a new case, this treatment for 6 months will be enough..
since you have gained weight, and no other symptoms.. your sputum test will be negative(if you dont have any other underlying problems like HIV).
all the very best.
