Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
Welcome at HCM.

Presence of cyst at hip is feature of arthritis hip.You should discuss about this with your doctor.

If his pain at hip is increasing with movement, standing from sitting position is painful then he needs complete evaluation by having MRI of hip.

At early stages he may have relief with medicines.

Hope this all will help you.
