Had Knee Problems. Now Have Pain In The Groin Through The Leg. Feel Hard To Walk. Treatment?
Hi, I've had knee problems for as long as I can remember I'm guessing through playing football for 15 years. Recently I've been getting pain from my groin through the top of my leg down to me knee but I've not played football regulary for around 5 years. The pain is pretty much constant from when I wake up in the morning to going to bed. At the moment it's not stopping me from walking but I feel like my knee is going to give way every time I take a step. Any advise on this would be appreciated.
Hi, As you were playing football for 15 years, there might be having minor injuries of an on in knee joint, back might be giving rise to early degenerative changes in knee joints, lumbo-sacral spines. These changes might have given sciatic pain, knee pain. Go for X-ray knee joints, lumbo-sacral region. Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined. Physiotherapy of back and knee joints will give much relief. Ok and take care.
